Matthew Magleby grew up under the tutelage of his father, Paul Magleby, with interests in construction, machinery, and problem solving through design. Matthew has a long history of management in large scale trade organizations throughout the Southwest and California and is passionate about leading the team of craftsmen that work in the field to ensure long-term success of the projects they build. Matthew has a BS Degree in Construction Management from Utah Valley University, and holds multiple certifications in concrete, crane operations, and heavy equipment.
Jake brings 20 years of framing experience with him to the MTS Team. He works side by side with the crew as well as the designers, architects, engineers, site and project managers. While keeping safety at the forefront he and his team strive for accuracy in details, productivity and positive outcomes for clients. Jake is a master craftsman and solves problems with professionalism and accountability. He is a NAHB Master Certified Green Professional and a NCCCO Certified Operator.
Brad Simons has over 40 years’ experience in construction industry administration. He’s worked in the production and custom segments of residential homebuilding. As CFO of Magleby Construction he played an integral role in the company’s expansion to Sun Valley Idaho and establishing two affiliated business in Mexico. Brad and his team of accountants provide financial services to the MTS team. Brad has as BA from the University of Utah, an MBA from Westminster University and is working on a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from Liberty University. Additionally Brad continues supporting the construction industry through service on two industry boards in Washington D.C.: The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and Home Builder’s Institute (HBI).
Russ’s experience in excavation runs deep- having come from a family of three generations in the industry. He brings a wealth of technical knowledge and a network of influential relationships. Over the last 20 years, his responsibilities have encompassed excavation management; including project oversight, equipment management, estimating, budgeting and field operations. Russ prioritizes safety and risk management while also driving results for the client. Prior to serving as Excavation Manager for MTS, Russ spent years with Magleby Construction and Fugals Excavation. He has a degree in Construction Management from Utah Valley University.
Sonny Clark started in the construction industry over 20 years ago gaining exposure to many facets of the business while gravitating toward his passion in carpentry work. He has been framing custom estate homes and luxury remodels for over 13 years, having spent a portion of that time at Magleby Construction where he worked on some of the most complex framing jobs in the company’s history. Since joining MTS, Sonny has been in field framing operations managing multiple crews and building his skills as a leader. In 2022 he stepped into the role of Group Leader and now not only has personal influence on framing quality, but is helping to teach the next generation of skilled craftsmen.
Tyler Bodiker has been in the construction industry for over 10 years, starting his career in metal stud framing for a commercial contractor in California where he worked on the AC2 campus for Apple. From there he diversified his experience working for various custom home builders as a carpenter throughout the western United States. Tyler found his true passion in finish carpentry work. His attention to detail and quality craftsmanship that produces positive outcomes for clients, coupled with his desire to improve the lives and skills of his fellow carpenters, lead him to become the Finish Carpentry Group Leader in 2023. Tyler holds a certification in Crane Rigging and an All-Terrain Forklift License.
Jason started his career in 1992 working for a master painter as an apprentice and was mentored in his craft for many years. He learned paint, stain, and other unique finishes. Motivated to round out his field experience, Jason earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration and thrives on finding ways to improve operations and process. He was considering a career in the corporate world when he joined MTS and is excited to be able to combine his management skills and artistic abilities to lead and motivate a successful team at Masterpiece Trade Services.
Adam Cornia joined Masterpiece Trade Services with over 24 years of construction experience. Prior to finding his passion for concrete, Adam spent many years working as a tradesman and leader in a variety of capacities including- framing, finish work, excavation and pool construction. Upon joining MTS, Adam helped to develop the Concrete Group, eventually stepping into the Group Leader role. He has helped to recruit, grow and train the team that now performs on projects ranging from architectural walls to footings and foundations to decorative flatwork. He loves working with concrete to create beautifully finished homes for MTS clients.
Dallan started with Magleby Construction in 2014 as a Laborer. Throughout his tenure, Dallan quickly climbed into management ranks with diverse experience including time spent in the following groups: Estate Homes, Remodel and Property Services. Dallan’s transition into Group Leader for Metal Works and Construction Services was a logical fit where he can fulfill his passion for problem solving and continual education in all things construction. He invests in NAHB courses for himself and his team and is currently enrolled in pre-licensing classes.
Ethan Magleby got his start with Magleby Construction as an excavation laborer in 2016. He then worked his way through multiple trade groups gaining valuable trade experience. This exposure helped when he became an Assistant Project Manager in 2020. His strategic process-forward organizational style shaped the way MTS operates. Ethan now manages the operations of MTS as well as the Project Management team. Ethan has a passion for creating efficient systems that ensure positive outcomes for clients. Ethan has a bachelor’s in business management from UVU as well as training in the PMP curriculum.
